Firsts

Today was Savannah's first day of Pre-school! She was sooo excited and a little nervous.
She's watched Rocky do it for so long and now it's her turn!

Savvy with new friend in Miss Mindy's play house.

On the teeter-totter

Ready to Go!!

Okay so the last two weeks have been full of firsts. Saturday was Jackson's first football game. I don't think it counts but it was the full shabang. And as a side note I have never in the 12 and a half years that I have known my husband seen him so excited about something. I am not joking in the slightest. It was amusing. They tied their game and played well even though it was way way hot!!

That's my boy!

I could tell where he was on the field, not by his number but the fact that he had one sock up and one sock down :-)

August 19th 2009- Rocky's first day of Kindergarten!!! Lining up with his class.

Sooo excited. He's had a countdown going from spring!!

Yeah!!

Jackson with his new teacher- Mrs. Jackson! Got to love that!

Go cougars!!

Summer Vacation

Summer Time!!
Ok so these pictures are soooo out of order - backwards and mixed up. My computer and I aren't getting along this week. Anyway... so the week this picture was taken was way busy and I came downstairs in the morning to find my youngest like this on top of the coffee table watching cartoons. Breakfast of champions.

I don't know why I like to take pics of the set up, but I do. Jackson wanted to go bowling for his birthday. It turned out to be totally fun!!

I made him a bowling ball cake. I don't like frosting so I used whipped cream and it kind of melted- but it tasted really good.

The bowling boys!

Opening presents.

The black lights and glow in the dark necklaces were cool.

The morning we did Jackson's party (Aug 8th) we did the Primary Activity. Which turned out awesome thanks to Annie and Tracy. But I had to go early and help set up, so Todd was left with getting the kids ready, or not in this case. I had to document it. (Oh and FYI- Savvy's hair isn't even combed!)

The set up with Annie's awesome sign!! We had a great turn out and tons of food. It was great.

Racing the paper boats they made. (Crossing the ocean to the promised land)

Nephi's bow- Todd helping- showing the kids how to aim and shoot!
Thanks for your help babe!

Making their boats to cross the ocean.

Some of Savvy's Princess Birthday Party set up.

The girls making their princess hats with jewels!
(and Rock with his prince crown)

Pin the princess in the castle window. All the girls dressed up in their favorite princess outfits. They were sooooo cute! Rock crashed the party! Savvy was more than overwhelmed.

Happy Birthday Savannah!! (Oh we did face painting too and Savvy had to have every single color- It started out as a flower and ended up as a kaleidoscope)

Presents!!!!

Like I said these are out of order. Jackson was baptised on the 1st of August and we had everyone over after for pizza and since my family was there we did the family birthday party for Jackson and Savannah- Can you say party party and more party?

Hanging out and eating.

Savvy got some makeup and the girls were having beauty time.

Pound-bundt cakes (We had them with strawberries and whipped cream! They're not beautiful but oh so yummy!)- Rocky got caught!! No wonder I didn't see Savvy blow them out!

Baptism of Jackson Clarke

While mom was setting up!

The Hunt Women

Hanging out after the baptism.

OK- random pic- I was on the phone with my mom for like 10-15mins max and I walk in and this is what I find- Club houses are they're new thing- cleaning them up however is not their cup of tea.

Last year Jackson asked for a guitar and we told him 8 was a better age to start learning an instrument and to read music. Well lo and behold he remembered and it's what he wanted - so a trip to Guitar Center rounded out the celebrations nicely.

Jackson wanted to practice with his pads on to get use to them. Todd needed 20 mins to finish up some work and when he came back in Jackson was out! I guess they can't be that uncomfortable.

ommmmmmmmmmm

Ok jumping back again. On our way home from Park City was Savvy's actual birthday. So we let her open a present before we headed out.

Cleaning with cousins in one of Grandma's big tubs!

We went out to dinner with uncle Paul when we went to see him while we were in Utah.

We went and saw Tony and Cheri and their girls too. They bought Savvy a matching dress for her birthday!! The girls had a ton of fun and were sooo cute together!

Aspen Grove
The boys playing V-ball.

View from our cabin of Timp.

Ok- so I took a pottery class while I was there, and this was the view from the pottery barn...

... oh did I mention it was suspended over the river. This was the wheel I used.

This is my first pottery a slightly lopsided bowl- but it was a lot of fun!!

Clarke cousins hanging after dinner.

The family games at Aspen Grove.

Rocky was part of the Kitty group- he had a blast !!

Jackson with the Cubs- They went to the pool every day!!!

More pics with Clarke cousins.

The Kittys did a lot of face painting which was right up Rock's alley!

Before Aspen Grove....
Jackson went on a church history tour with the older Clarke cousins and G & G Clarke. He had a great time - though we missed him a ton. I need to download those pics to this computer and put them up. He left before our week at Aspen Grove and we met him there.

While Jax was gone Rocky lost his first tooth. He was so excited to tell Jackson when we talked to him that day!!

Ok- more random pics- I re-painted my entrya different yellow and hung a bar that I'm hanging seasonal stuff from. This is my Memorial Day/Summer/July stuff. I copied the idea from my sister Natty. Thanks Natty!

I came up to make sure everyone was asleep and they were.... but in my bed and.....like this...hmmmmmmm. I had to make sure Savvy was breathing (she was).

Memorial Day at Grandma Hunt's house!!!!! What a cute fam I have!

Ok so a summer update was way long....I hope the time it took to read it was worth it! :O)
